Mattel is screwing over the Early Backers of Eternia

By making Revelation Grayskull a reward for 10k orders. Why am I mad at this, if I have no intention of preordering the set? Simple: Mattel is altering the deal. Sure, this time it "favors customers", but this isn't always the case... like say, Shrinkage. Now this deal alteration "favors customers", but screws over customers, particularly those who pledged early.

Revelation Grayskull was meant to be a reward for early backers. If you backed the project after a certain date, you couldn't get Revelation Grayskull. Now Mattel is saying that EVERYONE gets Grayskull IF they get the 10k orders. While there is that IF they reach 10k, it still devalues the effort put by the early backers. Basically, Mattel is giving the bird to Early Backers. What's the point of backing Early if Mattel is giving the Early Backer reward? This could backfire on them... as we saw with Hasbro's bullshit engine of Failure and their massice hemorrhage of backers. Or it could backfire in a different way with the next project taking a much longer time to make the goal, or failing.

While I'm not exactly a fan of early backer rewards or subscription exclusives being key characters,  Mattel shouldn't be able to alter deals like that. If they wanted to give Revelation Grayskull to all backers, he should've been made for all backers from the get go and make the Early Backer reward something else.

I don't like how Mattel did the Early  backers dirty, but it's not the worst move they could've pulled off. But again, I've no horse on this race.
