Le gasp! GRRM Remembered he has books to finish!

 Half a year's left for the tenth anniversary of the night I became an orphan and George Raymond Richard Martin remembered he has books to write. While this is a nothingburger, it's amazing that he actually remembered the books. But he's been almost done with the 6th book for some time and hasn't finished it yet. Mom was ALIVE when he was writing the 6th. This bullshit has gone for way too long.

The question is: Do I even care to read the sixth book then either GRRM or I die before the 7th?

George R.R Martin has a Winds of Winter update

 He's been writing almost every day and has done some progress... not as fast as he'd like and much less as fast as WE'D like, but he's finally writing... something good had to come out of the strike... I mean it's been over 12 years since A Dance with Dragons was published. Almost 27 years since A Game of Thrones was published.

In 15 years he was able to publish 5 books of ASOIAF, but he's taking almost the same amount of time to pu lish the 6th book. It's not that we're afraid that you'll die, George, but you're 74, that's not the age of a child of spring... you're in late autmn, George and as Eddard Stark, Lord of Winterfell used to say:

Winter is indeed coming, George... it comes for us all and you're closer to it than us. We don't want to have HBO's rushed ending as the official end to your saga.

Write George, write as if your life depended on it!

George RR Martin has gone the way of porn game makers

 What do I mean with that? Well, usually porn game makers give some estimated release dates and then the date comes and no release. They make up excuses and keep stalling while raking Patreon money... then they make up excuses while not giving any tentative release date. George RR Martin has reached that point now. Now the comparison stems from the character ages in the books. Khal Drogo was 30 when he popped Daenerys Targaryen's 13 year old cherry. Has scenes of familial love... I'm talking Incest and has a thing to put extremely young nubile teens in dangerous situations where they can be raped or killed. Then there are the food and gore fetishes he has...

My Mom was ALIVE, when Georgie Slow ass Molasses RR Martin announced The Winds of Winter over 10 years ago... Still waiting... but it's funny the excuses he's using now. Blaming his customer base for being angry at HIS IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR! He finds it Grisly that people are worried that he MAY DIE BEFORE FINISHING THE 2 REMAINING BOOKS! Well, there is a solution for that: FINISH THE GODDAMNED BOOKS and people won't worry about you dying. You are 73 and obese... as an obese person myself, I'm well aware of the lower life expectancy that we have due to our weight, so I understand why people react that way. Even I have fallen into the same trap as well. But even if you weren't obese, you're in your 70s. That also lowers your life expectancy. No matter how we slice it, the odds aren't in your favor. This isn't a 2 or a 15 month delay...  the first tease of Winds of Winter was released in the early 2010s. We're in the early 2020sand still no book. The TV adaptation came, had to improvise the final 3 seasons, the series ended, and has been mostly forgotten, aside the final season being a clusterfuck of failure.

The TV show has pretty much killed most of the good will audiences had towards this story. The fact that THEY STILL WORRY ABOUT YOU DYING BEFORE THE BOOKS ARE OVER, is in a weird way, showing that the audience STILL RESPECT YOUR VISION, GRRM!! They don't want another making up bullshit endings like the TV show people did. The fact that you keep getting into "distractions" and "excuses" to not finish the last two books SCARES your loyal audience. At least they haven't turned on you like it happened to J.K. Rowling.

George R R Martin is still not writing The Wonds of Winter and he is butthurt about fans.

 Remember George R R Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire series that started in the mid 90s and got an HBO adaptation whose last 3 seasons were a shit show because the books weren't finished and the Showrunners had to make shit up to reach an ending? Well he's complained recently about "vicious fans" who write mean stuff like "where's the book" on GRRM's blog posts on how he's doing lots of shit not related to finishing The Winds of Winter, which was getting the final touches back when Mom was alive. So yeah, I've no sympathy for George Slowass RR Martin. 

Yes, back in the pre-internet era, one had to sit down, write a letter, pay for postage and send it. Then the letter would reach the publisher and it would sit on a pile until they reach the author. This excessive hassle was removed with the internet. So, if I wanted to say: For God's sake GEORGIE SLOW AS MOLASSES RR SIT YOUR FAT ASS AT YOUR DESK AND FINISH THE GODDAMNED BOOKS BEFORE YOU DIE FROM A HEART ATTACK MARTIN, I could do so without the filter from having to write a physical letter and send it. The instant nature of the internet has removed some filters that the old school methods of communication had. 

The letter version would not be as succint as the "vicious internet message" but it could be quite as vicious:

Dear George RR Martin:

Based on your recent publications, it appears that work on the Winds of Winter is not being done. The lack on progress on this tome is alarming, due to painfully obvious reasons, but I shall point them out to avoid any obtuse replies.

You are no longer a child of Spring George, Winter is coming and you're in Autumn. Not to mention your massive corpulence, which could potentially overwork your heart. Instead of spending time doing tours,  fundraisers, or other excuses that keep your Twiceman behind away from your desk.

Write, George, write the goddamned books!

 It's that time again: George Slow as Molasses RR Martin is giving excuses for his delay on Tje Winds of Winter.  Holy shit it's been 10 years since A Dance with Dragons! But we mustn't worry because some of his other projects are getting done.

At this rate Final Fantasy seven remake will be completed Todd McFarlane will make his Spawn movie and we still won't have the final two books of A Song of Ice and Fire

I'm very disappointed in my inability to find a Switch Physical version of Link's Awakening. I don't want to buy a digital copy. 3 Wal*Marts, a Best Buy, still empty handed


George RR Martin is angry about the final season of the HBO adaptation of his incomplete book series A Song of Ice and Fire. He claims it wasn't faithful to his plans. George if you had finished the Damned books earlier then they wouldn't have any excuse. But no you have been far too busy doing anything except writing the Damned books!!  YOU gave them plausible deniability.

Since "they did it all wrong" shouldn't that make you work harder to "do it right" and write the Damned books!  write George write!!

George RR Martin finds another excuse to not write

I really don't know which is less likely to happen the Todd McFarlane Spawn movie or George RR Martin finishing glass new books from the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Well Georgie found another project to get involved that does not have him writing the last two damned books. I honestly don't know what I meow wolf is but goddammit George Wright finished the last two books then you can do whatever you want with your life! Do not leave us hanging George...

I know this is the part that some George RR Martin Defenders, say "he's not your trained monkey he can do it at whatever Pace he wants blah blah blah blah blah..."

Normally I would agree but the problem with George is that he's always looking for an excuse to not finished what he started and it's been what? 23 years since he published the first book?  Seriously every time I see his name in news is like: Oh shit he died and it's like he's just looking for another excuse to not write...
Why don't you say something to wake up and it was George RR Martin dead and  the last two books would remain unpublished.

So let's see what happens first Final Fantasy 7 remake or Georgie at least publishes Winds of Winter...

As stated in the title, Today is The Release of Cobra Kai season 2... I have no way of watching this... Would be cool if they released the seasons on DVD or BluRay for those who can't get the Premium YT service...

I personally, don't want to put myself through A Feast for Crows and A Dance of Dragons all over again. (Those two are the ones that gave away the fact that the great GRRM had lost control of his story.)

Odds and Ends 07/23/17: Valerian, Flashpoint, N64, and Winter is coming

So I saw Valerian... It's based on French Comics that I have not read, so I can't tell How Faithful this is from the Source Material and the little I've read, well... it makes me think that the movie just took the name of the French Comic Characters and did a Bastard Child of The Fifth Element and Star Wars. It Stars that dude from Chronicle and The Amazing Spider-Man and a Discount Lindsay Lohan... The villain from Suicide Squad. Luc Besson, of the Fifth Element fame gave us a PRETTY MOVIE TO LOOK AT but I kinda felt like I took too many Valerian Root pills. I was struggling to stay awake during the movie. The leads were dull and wooden. Mannequin Skywalker never looked so good next to these two. The worst part was having to sit through a Rihanna burlesque number and that was the movie's highest point.

Seriously, this movie is like the worst part of the Prequels combined with The Fifth Element minus Ruby Rhod.


I used to think that Ruby was annoying, but after seeing Valerian, i miss Ruby so much that I'd kiss Chris Tucker if I ever meet him.

It almost seems as if Georgie is stalling until The Many-Faced god comes to him...

Nintendo 64 Classic MAY be a reality... As stupid as it sounds. The Original site's article says CONFIRMED, but I'm taking this with a grain of salt. Nintendo only made a Trademark, nothing more. I already mentioned WHY I think a N64 Classic is unlikely, due to limitations of licensing and Rare being bought by Microsoft (and Rare was HUGE in the N64 era)

I wasn't going to keep on going with the whole 13th Incarnation of the Doctor... I believe it's a mistake doing it now, because it's blatantly obvious that this is Pandering to the SocJus crowd. Had this been done when 10 turned into 11, it would've made more sense, from a storytelling point. Also, doing it back then would have beaten the Tumblr campaigns.

"The Master did it" defense doesn't work either, BECAUSE The Master has also been Eric Roberts (as in Julia's Brother) and a Space Worm... Well, there's the precedent for the Murican Doctor and the Space Worm Doctor... Hell, if he can change age and gender, why not having a Female Teen as The Doctor... You are prone to procrastinate since you have a dumb self-made rule: Only write at Home, yet you spend a LOT, and I mean A LOT of time outside your place. It makes sense that people worry about you not finishing the books. Especially since you're running out of books and the story has gone nowhere in the last two. It's obvious that you're just milking it now instead of FINISHING THE BOOKS, THEN MILK THE HELL OUT OF THEM!!! 20 FREAKING YEARS, MAN!!

Screw the Olsen Douches! Fuller House will keep going on without them. At least everyone except them will show up for a possible Thanksgiving Episode! They say they had no connection to the show like the rest of the cast. That part is understandable... The twins who played Nicky and Alex didn't have that connection either, but they filmed a Cameo appearance. Doing that won't kill the twins... They only need to send ONE for a quick Cameo. The only reason they have the tons of money as "Fashion Moguls" IS BECAUSE OF FULL HOUSE! All the other movies, TV show, videogames were made possible because Full House made them a household name!


Stephen King gave George R.R. Slow as a Restaurant Ketchup Bottle Martin some tips on how to write faster... I mean, wow! George needs tips on how to write faster? I can give you a few:
-Get off your ass and WRITE!! You're a WRITER, do your frigging job!
-Stop going to cons, TV shows, radio shows and bunch of things that keep you too far away from home for far too long...
-If you REALLY HAVE TO GO, then LEARN TO FREAKING WRITE AWAY FROM HOME!!

Roman Reigns wasn't ready to be champ. He's OK, but OK is not enough. Brock Lesnar is an Awful champ. He's a good fighter, but due to his condition and Part Time Wrestler status, giving him the belt would have been cheap (as it has been this last year). Vinnie Mac and the writing staff had very little choice than use Seth Rollins and the Money in the Bank angle.

Cheap victory? Yeah... But now Rollins has a HUGE target on his back... Robbing BOTH LESNAR and REIGNS from the belt means that he has TWO UNSTOPPABLE JUGGERNAUTS who want his head... or we would if the writers do a decent story after WM...

Taker vs Wyatt:
I don't know... This match was a year too late and the result was predictable. After losing to Part-Time Lesnar, the WWE thought that beating Bray Wyatt would help Taker recover some badass points... To me it didn't. Basically The Original product beat up the Dollar Store Knockoff. Not to mention how this undermines Wyatt as the new face of fear in the WWE.

Cripple H won because it's the obvious outcome. WWE had to completely bury the WCW by having The Authoritah's own HHH beat the "face of WCW". Bringing Sting for THAT was rather lame... But in all fairness, it was a good match!

The rest of the WM? I don't give a damn! The few matches I saw cemented why I stopped caring about the WWE aside the occasional WTF news event that happens.

(I feel bad for the fans who picked up their first ASOIAF book back in the 90s.) The Game of Thrones showrunners have already stated that they know how it'll end and that they'll REACH the intended ending in seven seasons and that they will NOT go in a hiatus.

Then again, the show has started to veer off the books' storyline. We better get ready for more of that.
I'm not gonna go on another FINISH THE DAMN BOOKS ALREADY, since Georgie RR Slowpoke Martin has stopped going to cons in order to finish the sixth book.

Now Season 5 is coming... This kinda bugs me since I'm going to be catching up to the books and possibly go into a different direction, but on the other hand; I can't wait for GRRM to finish so I can watch the show without ruining the literary experience...

Stupidity sense tingling! The Spectacular Spider-Man, aka the SECOND REBOOT in less than 15 years of Spider-Man supposedly has a director and may have an Ironman Cameo... That's not the stupid thing.

The Stupid thing is the rumors about trying to please the SJW crew by changing Parker's race.
For the same reason that I don't want an Asian T'Challa or a Inuit Wonderman is why I do not want a non-white Peter Parker... I want my characters to resemble their comic book counterparts as close as humanly possible. People bitched about the Cat on the first Hunger Games having the wrong fur color. Changing the main character's race or gender  because "Social Justice" IS WRONG! Yes, we should have more minorities, but not at the expense of taking established characters and switching them with minorities. Remember that this is coming from a person who by all intents and purposes would be considered "a minority" in continental US.

Gerogie, slow ass R.R. Martin is STILL TRYING TO BUY TIME to not finish the books.
Some HBO Exec and GRRM seem to be pushing for 10 seasons and a movie. Seems that Georgie is forgetting that the Stark Children are growing... Just look at Maisie Williams... She'll be 18 on April 15th (she was 13-14 when the show started...) She'll be 23 by the time the show's over and Arya is supposed to be like 10... Just keep it at seven and Glue GRRM to the seat in front of his typewriter!
