James Gunn's plan is not perfect, but

It has potential to be good. It's no secret that I'm not a fan of Zack Snyder's "vision". I think Snyder was a hack who didn't understand the characters he was working with. As expected, The Flash, or how some Snydertards like to call the movie: The Flush, which is funny since flushes usually get rid of Shit and the Flash is getting rid of the Snyderverse. Yeah, it's a thing. Well, the Snydertards are crying hard with the new plan. Funny thing is that there are a few similarities between Hack's vision and Gunn's:

Both have a green Supes and a more veteran Bats. The theme of Gods and Monsters is in both. But that's where the similarities end. The plan that Gunn has involves multimedia. Using Animation, Live action series and movies, and even videogames to tell the story.
That sounds pretty interesting. He's also going to push for lesser known characters along the big 3. Swamp Thing, Booster Gold and other "lesser known characters" will get a chance in the spotlight for the sake of avoiding overreliance on the Bat Shaped Crutch.

The Batman will finish its Trilogy and Joker gets its sequel. I'm not a fan of Joker, but The Batman getting its trilogy done KINDA makes sense... monetarily speaking. It was a low budget movie that recouped about 4 times its budget. If the sequel does as well, the trilogy is guaranteed.

"If Battinson gets to finish his universe, why not Snyder?"
Because Snyder is a money pit with disappointing results! With No COVID, opening in more places, getting a ridiculous amount of time at the movie theaters without legal options to "watch for free". BVS performed so bad that The Batman, while opening in mid pandemic, with less markets available, and with an HBO Max release nearly a month after it came on theaters, and an active boycott by Snydertards, it nearly catches up to BvS in profits (once the production budgets are deduced from the box office.) Bigger names would require bigger paychecks and for WB, the risk is not worth the reward.

Not to mention that Snyder's Avengers: Endgame parody with Injustice as a source sounded like derivative edgelord crap. Then there's the bad blood between WB and Snyder. While WB weren't saints here, neither was Snyder.

I don't like the wishy-washy attitude towards Gadot, Momoa, and Ezra Miller. Keeping them AFTER The Flash is, in my opinion, a mistake. I get that part of it is just lip-service to avoid sabotaging the movies before release. If Flash ends the DCEU, WHY MAKE AQUAMAN 3!? Momoa is better off playing Lobo. I don't know what role Gadot could play... don't you dare say Big Barda. Miller? Therapy, lots and lots of therapy is required. Miller Shouldn't be rewarded post-Flash after the erratic shown.

But now let's talk what was revealed:
Creature Commandos:
Animated TV series following another Amanda Waller Team of misfit characters, but with a twist: They are of the freaky variety. I'm guessing this would be like Suicide Squad but with Freaks and Monsters.

Waller: a Live Action TV series following Amanda Waller. It's meant to be a spin-off of Peacemaker.

Superman: Legacy:
This is the (in)famous project that meant no more Cavill. IF The plan is to last all the way to 2040, since they're starting in 2024 or 2025, that would be between 15-16 years. Now it's clear WHY Cavill can't stay as Superman. Cavill would be 41-42 by 2025. By 2040 He'd be 56-57. Affleck would be on his late 60s.

Lanterns:
A TV Series following various Green Lanterns. Personally, I think this is a better idea than a movie. Main worry is budget. Please let Crisp Rat be Guy Gardner.

The Authority:
This is the Wildstorm stuff being inserted into DC. So I guess we'll get stuff from WildCATS

Paradise Lost:
A Game of Thrones inspired series about The Amazons of Themyscira before the birth of Diana? I guess the GoT styled intro would be about Tacos instead of Weiners.

The Brave and The Bold:

This is the (in)famous Batman Project with an older Batman. He's going to have "The Demon's Butthole" as his Robin. We're skipping Dick, Jason, and Tim as Robins, but they would exist in this continuity... (or at least some of them). I honestly hope that this Batman isn't THAT old and began operating in his early 20s in order to have enough time for Dick to become Nightwing and maybe 1 more Robin before an accelerated aged Damian shows up.

I don't mind a slightly older Batman or starting the Universe with Batman being a bit experienced. I just don't want a Batman closer in age to Batman Beyond, while Superman is somewhat of a rookie.

Booster Gold: TV series:
Ehhh... it's not that I hate Booster Gold, but I find him better in small doses. But a TV Series works better for him in order to tell the story of douchebag turned into a real hero.

Supergirl: Woman of tomorrow:
It's a movie about Supergirl. I wonder if they might try to copy Batman/Superman Public Enemies In order to Begin to sample a Justice League.

Swamp Thing:

I hope that this movie has a more horror angle and I want to suggest one name as director: William of the Bull... in Spanish it would be Guillermo Del Toro. Even Gunn could do it, due to his background with TROMA, but personally, I'd prefer Del Toro.

The plan seems pretty interesting. I'm a bit iffy about Batman and the Demon's Butthole, Paradise Lost, and the whole making Aquaman 3 despite The Flash eliminating the Snyderverse.
I really hope that DC Comics is able to pull off a decent Universe now, because they have plenty of great stories to tell.
