Advent calendar ICFtTC 14: Burning Sugah... Pyro/Rogue 2-pack

Marvel Legends Pyro/Rogue 2-pack: contains a brand new Pyro to replace the ToyBiz one and a new Rogue in an Outfit I don't care about... This is not a good Start.

Both Pyro and Rogue were members of Mystique Brotherhood of evil mutants. Pyro can MANIPULATE EXISTING FIRES, not create them. Rogue can absorb your memories and abilities via touch. Originally Pyro died from the Legacy virus and Rogue betrayed the Brotherhood and the joined the X-Men after putting Carol Danvers in a coma.

Articulation
The figures possess standard articulation. Pyro is built on the Sunfire body  while Rogue is on a standard Female body. The only issues I have are:
Pyro's hoses popping off his backpack and Rogue's skirt restricting articulation.
4.0 for Rogue and 4.5 for Pyro
If he had flame effects that
Plugged into his flame thrower...

Paint and sculpt
Like I mentioned before that these figures are built on familiar bodies. Pyro's differences are on the head and on their backpack and flamethrower. Most of robes details are made by paint and her scarf and skirt would be the only different pieces aside the heads. They're functional but I kind of feel that it's a bit lazy at the same time. I understand that having to 100% new sculpts is logistically improbable, but this set feels lackluster, especially Rogue. At least Pyro can hide the part reuse by having his add-on parts.
Stormco and Tamashii Nations
Could fix Pyro's crappy flames issue.

She reminds me of someone...

The paintwork is decent but it's not a big deal. You see it and it's like... OK, they look like the characters. but in Rogue's case she's pretty much Dark Green. Perhaps a combination of metallic green and maybe a glossy green would have given her some color variation. Like say, her boots are glossy green to simulate the pleather of the boots. Her tights and gloves could be metallic green to simulate the shininess of spandex while her dress is flat green. Rogue gets here a 3.5 while Pyro gets a 4.0
She looks fine with the modified Gambit.

Accessories:
Rogue gets an extra head and an extra set of hands. There isn't much you can do with her... but Hasbro dropped the ball with Pyro. Literally the same flame effects that have been used on Sunfire and Human Torch. Hence my tiny nitpick about Pyro. He should've gotten new flaming accessories since he's 90% reused parts.
Here Rogue gets a 3.0 and Pyro gets a 2.0

Overall:
Let me crunch the numbers before explaining:
Rogue gets a 3.5 as her final score. Pyro gets a 3.5 as well... This makes calculating the final score easier: 3.5 for the 2 pack.
While very accurate, for some reason it feels half-assed. I get that there are "budget limitations" and that some "cheap to make" characters offset the fully new tooled characters. The issue I have is that Rogue feels severely underwhelming for being a less popular variant of a popular character. Pyro is the one carrying the 2 pack, but he's lacking that extra Oomph! to push him from OK figure to AWESOME figure!
Rogue would like to see the Manager.
