Advent Calendar 05: Marvel Legends Spider-Man Retro Series Rhino

 I
have nothing witty to say about Rhino. Which is suitable for Rhino, since he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. Basically, he's a thug in a nearly invincible suit. Let's just say Juggernaut is Coca-Cola and Rhino is Great Value diet soda.

Articulation
This is an older BAF and only has single joints at the elbows and knees. The ab crunch is limited, bit at least he has a neck hinge to look down for stampeding poses. Foot stand heavily recommended (with some blu tac for the foot and under the stand)

Paint and sculpt
The sculpting on the figure is actually really good. It doesn't look like the Classic rhino, but the only gripe is that there is no paint job in the back of the figure. I consider this a huge mistake because most of the non-vanilla poses will show his bare and unpainted back.

Accessories
Extra head
2 Extra hands

Honestly, there isn't much that they could have done with this figure. Besides it's a retro series release which means usually less accessories. Also this was a higher priced item because it's a BAF. If only there were collapsible walls sold as action figure props to use on a Rhino display. But back to the figure. I'm trying to think what else could they add and all i can think off is, well an oversized web accessory to trap him.

Overall
Rhino gets a 4.17 as his final score. This is a decent score and I can't think of any big ways to improve this figure. Sure it could use a better paint job especially on the back where there is practically none but that's about it. While it's a bit short on articulation, I don't think that adding more points of articulation would improve the figure. In fact I think it would be detrimental to the posing of the figure. I know it sounds weird me arguing against articulation, but in the case of Rhino as long as he can maintain a Rhino charge pose, it's good enough for me.
