Adbentokarendā 8: Tengu Warrior

I know the box says Tenga Warrior, but I'm using the original Tengu Warrior name for a key reason... The Heaven Sentinels are usially Avian in form and these fodder villains are Avian in form. I'm not sure if rights issues came up and for some reason the Tengu Warriors became Tenga Warriors. In Japan Tenga is a brand of a different type of toys... they are quite handy... 

Nefty VO: When the Tengu feel threatened, they try to make themselves larger and make noise in an attempt to scare off potential predators or Teenagers with Attitude.
Tengu Warriors: ARE YOU THREATENING ME!? I AM CORNHOLIO! I NEED TP FOR MY BUNGHOLE!
Nefty VO: Ah, the Tengu can make noises mimicking the English languages and communicate with catchphrases, the pre-internet version of memes.

Articulation

They have quirky Articulation:

Double knees but single elbows. Most likely due to the wings. The torso has great range due to the reverse ab-crunch and diaphragm balljoint.

Ankles are a bit of a pain to use. Their beaks open and close.

Paint and sculpt

They captured the Tengu look quite well. The paintjob is pretty good as well. The metallic accents make the figure pop.

Overall

The Tengu Warrior gets a 5.0 as its final score. For a $20-ish figure, it has the perfect amount of accessories, it has a really good paint job and decent sculpt for a mass produced kid friendly toyline that can be adult collector friendly as well. Technically, I paid a lot less for one of them, since I got one at Kmart when they were closing.
