Cuties: How America is overreacting thanks to its Puritan roots.

The French film Mignonnes has created a massive Shitstorm. Claims of the movie normalizing pedophilia have been the main accusations, some people even claim that the movie contains actual child porn in it. Think about that last sentence. Netflix, an American company subjected to American laws, showing actual child pornography!? It doesn't make sense! Why would Netflix do that!? That would be instant self-destructiom.

Seeing the 11 year-old girls twerking is a bit uncomfortable, true. But are we forgetting something, 'Murica? Aren't we forgetting something?



You CREATED THIS MONSTER!!! 9 seasons of Toddlers and Tiaras. Plus 4 seasons of Here comes Honey Boo Boo! Not to mention preserving countless of Child Pageants. You cannot claim any moral High Ground here.

The funny thing is that most of the people criticizing this movie have not seen it and are not interested in seeing it at all. And you kinda need to see the movie in order to criticize it. You can criticize the trailer and explain why does it appeal to you.

Saw the Trailer... I don't care abour the movie. I'm not the target audience and if adult women twerking make me feel uncomfortable, why am I going to bother watching little girls twerking?

But seriously, 'Murica, why are you acting all Puritanical about this, when Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Tik Tok, and other platforms are precisely FULL OF REAL LITTLE GIRLS TWERKING FOR LIKES.! Where is the outrage for those!?

Don't want to watch Cuties? Don't watch it... But please, don't try to act Puritanical about it, because Skeletons tend to pop out of the closet...
