They are moving to Nawlins... most likely because it's cheaper. Now to be honest, NYTF is a dinosaur of the pre-internet era for the industry. Right now it's almost irrelevant since the big companies make their own events before, during, or after the event. Smaller companies are selling direct to customers, since big box retailers often ignore them.
There won't be a NYTF in 2024 and the last NYTF will be in 2025. I guess that we have to accept that Toy collecting will die with us. Kids seem to have little interest in physical toys ASIDE those raised with collectors.
Dude... NECA Knocked it out of the park with TMNT... sadly a lot of their stuff is Target exclusive so I will miss out on the undercover Casey Jones with his 9-5 Pencil Pusher outfit, Samurai Mikey and Space Cadet Don... when you see them, you'll see what I mean.
Neca is making an Usagi Yojimbo line... they've shown Usagi 2.0, Fully Armored Usagi and Space Usagi.
On the Mirage side, we have Rat King, that I may have mentioned, Savanti Romero to pair up with Renet, human Baxter Stockman, which I HAVE to get... and Kirby, as in the artist who is a nod to Jack Kirby whose pencil has the Crystal that Made April happen.
Nothing on the toon outfit Judith Hoag, but Professor Perry will be in a 2 pack with himself and Keno will be in a 2 pack with a foot soldier.
